Tips Maximum MicroSD Card Supported

    May I know what's the highest MicroSD card capicity supported by HTCMagic? 8GB or 16 GB?

    I've had 16gb Sandisk card in mine since purchase when it launched in the UK and had no probs with it.

    +1 i ordered my Magic, then ordered a 16gig Kingston card. Put it in on the first day i got the phone and everything is fine.

    Better questions would be... will the magic support bigger cards with new Android updates.

    Thanks.. I'll give it a try. I was getting a 2GB MicroSD card by default, and I can't find the highest card capacity details from HTC website, that's why I'm puzzling whether I should get a 8GB or 16GB.

    16gb is maximum for now. I dont think any software update can change that.

    thanks... I'll take note of it, and purchase only 16gb of card only!

    Apparently it can support up TO 32GB but their isn't really a 32GB card out their yet?

    Some sellers are taking pre-orders for 32gb - I'd expect to see them before the end of the year.

    As we know it works with 8 and 16Gb cards it must be micro SDHC compatible therefore will accept upto 32Gb (the limit of the format). Hopefully, a software upgrade will allow us to use the new microSDXC format allowing upto 2TB.

    By the time 2TB card comes out, htc magic is already outdated.
