Help Media Volume issue after upgrading to Android 2.2 from 2.1

Hi everyone,

I just upgrading my phone to Android 2.2.

I realize that even if I set my media volume to max, the media volume output is still very weak.

This issue is not found when my phone is running on Android 2.1

Has anyone seen this issue?

Is this a bug? Is there a fix for this?

I don't have that issue, but I did a full wipe and flash, along with a factory reset once Froyo was installed. Have you tried a factory reset?

I did not do a factory reset on my phone after the upgrade process.

Is this step a must?

How do we do a backup of all the data on the phone before doing factory reset?

How do we restore the data after the factory reset?
