I rooted my phone but foolishly uninstalled MediaProvider.apk, now it doesn't do any media scanning:(

I tried download and replace it using MediaProvider.apk for other devices but it didn't work. Does anyone has the correct one for the T-mobile version?
    It's in /system/App ;)

Or is that I used the wrong method to replace it? Tell me please please please:(

Try going to recovery and fixing permissions and see if that helps.

Since it is a system app you have to manually push it to your system/app folder using root explorer or a similar app. Then just fix permissions. And reboot. You dont have to install if its in the system/app folder just reboot.
