Medical student-will the captivate work for me?

I am not super technology proficient....

I am a medical student and I watch streamed lectures from a secure website, and I cannot download my emails to a second program due to HIPAA and have to access them through a password protected site. Could I access these things using an android smartphone? Also, I would like some medical apps, but i have heard these are limited on the android market?

There are a handful of medical apps, but the market is growing weekly. I really cant answer your first question as i dont know how secure the site you are using actually is. You can always go to an ATT store and try

well epocrates is the most common app for med students, but if your streaming site uses Flash, it should work WHEN 2.2 froyo comes out for the Captivate

Medscape is in the works. I like it better than Epocrates.
