Has anyone else received the message from Boost about the data speeds? I got one today saying data speeds would be slowed after 2.5gb.

Yeah Virgin has had this for a year now, I think that it's a way for Sprint to justify their prices compared to their prepaid services. Just received one from Virgin last week stating that in january they'll start monitoring 4G, until now that's been unlimited.

Well i never thought i would find a forum about this But here i go. I also got the same message but they also said that after using 2.5gbs of usage it will go to 3g speeds so if your phone is running on 4g it will go to 3g speeds after the 2.5gbs of usage but for me and others on that end that dont pay an extra 10.00 for 4g well we really wont be losing anything at all . to me it sounds like only 4g unlimited user will . But also in that case they basiclly said { HEY WERE GOING TO RIP YOU OFF} Because to me it sounds like there going to break the contract as if your already paying for unlimited service means unlimited service not half the service . You wouldnt go buy a new truck and pay 40,000 for it and they say oh sorry sir but we can only give you have of the truck unless you want to pay 40,000 more to get the whole Truck. It plain and simple concept when you say unlimited is unlimited so really boost better watch it because they could get sued big because its false advertising if they unlimited service than its unlimited service and thats what we are paying for and if its not than there screwing there customers out of there money and boost shouldnt do it because if there the only one with true unlimited service then they would keep all there customers and also get more from other carriers that dont provide true unlimited service . Thats how you are suppose to beat the competition By providing better service than the rest do yall agree.
