Messaging problems

Hi,

I am currently experiencing a couple of glitches when texting on my HTC Desire ( running Froyo 2.2 )

1) when composing a new text, the slider sometimes jumps to the very first text, causing me me to go back or scroll back down to the bottom in order to continue composing the text.

2) when receiving texts it is highlighting my last text sent as the incoming sms. ( as if im sending myself an SMS ) this is really annoying as it confuses the flow of conversations when using SMS.
