Here is my situation: I'm looking for a smartphone for my wife who has never had a smartphone before. Can anyone suggest:
    1) good used smartphone ($80-$100 range)
    2) decent battery life (12+ hrs is fine)
    3) could be a metro branded phone, but would prefer not

    Thanks to any who help.

The Samsung Admire is decent, as well as the HTC Wildfire. Both are decent entry level smart phones. I'm not to familiar with the flashing compatibility though.

As far as getting 12+ hours on a smart phone, it's not gonna happen unless it is uses VERY little through out the day. 8 hours is more realistic expectation.

I was looking at both of those. The admire looks easier to root too. Thx
