And we having a booting and working img. Still needs a lil testing and it still wipes data when booting to recovery!!! So be prepared and have a backup. you can flash with 2nd-init recovery and get a good backup too while your at it. ;)

You will still need to fix the factory reset bug tho right?

yes, if the F3 suffers from that it will still need fixed, once we figure out wtf its doing.

I've been working on a app for the motion that can backup and restore data after you've booted to recovery, even download & install cwm, reboot to recovery.

I will have to edit it for the F3 once I get it ready. But we'll deal with that once we have a working CWMR.

Also make sure to have made a backup to your sdcard with 2nd-init. ;)

Would this work for the VM version of the phone? I'd be willing to help out if it is!

Back up completed and install says completed. Wiped data cache and and installed fx3-cwm.zip restarted the phone did the normal setup like you would a new phone but I don't see anything different. Also Root is gone, Could be because I held the power button and volume down to check if I had a new recovery but still the same system reset.

Flashed using the LTE2 Recovery App you modified.

    root shouldnt have been touched.

The LG Reset screen will still appear booting with the button combo, press power 3x to confirm, then it should boot into CWMR. If it doesnt boot into CWMR, it should eventually boot back to the OS.

Just tried again, It will do the system reset but that's all I get. Then it just boots back up after.

Hey guys does the recovery work with the LOKI patch? Because if it does i would be able to wip up a cm ROM...

When cwm gets to working, it will loki the boot.img for you. Currently 2nd-init will have to be used and the boot.img left out or pre-loki-fied. There are a set of binaries & script that can added to a rom to loki the boot.img on install. Ideally the getting cwmr working would best route. ;)

@PlayfulGod Would this happen to be CWMR v6.0.3.1? If so it is working and you don't have to hold power + volume down to get to it. I restarted the phone tapped the power button 3 times and got into CWMR.

Someone else want to confirm this? Also I didn't get the system reset by doing it like this.

nope its 6.0.3.9 or 6.0.4.0. Most likely you are getting it to boot into the 2nd-init recovery which can be done by toggling the vol button + power.

adb reboot recovery or from adb shell 'reboot recovery' or from terminal emulator 'su' then reboot recovery' will get it to boot into recovery too, just remember data will be wiped. That issue is still being looked into. ;)

Confirmed working :) tested it and it back up and restores fine. Thanks and sorry took so long I work 16 hours a day so I don't get much time to do anything unless I get a day off. But once again thanks for the hard work and a working recovery.
