micro sd card for a desire hd

Hi can anyone tell me what class a micro sd card should be for a HTC Desire HD please? Ive bought a 32gb card but doesnt work and someone told me its to do with the type of class??????? is this right?

Hello and welcome to Android Forums!

When you say 'doesn't work' do you mean the phone doesn't see it at all? If you boot the phone with the sd card inserted and then go to menu>settings>storage, does it show an sd card?

The minimum class recommended for streaming video is Class 6, although you could probably get by with low resolution video on a class 4. I haven't really heard of the class of an sd card preventing it from working at all. You may wish to ask the folks who own the same handset in HTC Desire HD - Android Forums.
