Micro-USB cable????/?

I know i got 1 from Radio Shack that didn't work.. What's the deal is it the ferrite core? with or without it?

You dont really need it for a USB cable. All it does is help to get rid of electrical interference, which in the case of usb, it will either work or not.

really? hmmm, so why didn't the usb cable work i got from Radio Shack? hmmm

What didn't work about it? It could have just been a bad cable. Have you taken it back and exchange it for a new one?

I ordered the ferrite core / gold plated two weeks ago (the other one was not in stock back then). All six of them worked.

However i found that the micro-USB connection was a notch too "tight" when you compare with the cable provided by HTC. This means you need to be careful when plugging / unplugging the device. Dunno if this could be a problem in the long run though...
