I've had this problem since I got my Droid 2 last week -- when making or receiveing calls, the person on the other end cannot here me no matter what, unless I turn on the speakerphone. Then everything is fine, whilke the speakerphone is on.
I coouldn;t repeat the issue at the Veriszon store, but I suspect that either the noise cancelling function is cancelling my voice or the phone does not drop the bluetooth connection after I turn off my headset.
I know others have had this problem, but short of a soft reset, is there a fix?
