    Good day!

    I would like to upgrade my sdcard that came with my HTC Desire phone. Are MicroSDHC cards compatible with my phone. Is there any limit to size and should I pay attention to Class? ie. what's the difference btw Class 2 and Class 10

    Thanks in advance;

    Rhonda

    speed is the only difference as far as i know, 10 being faster than 2

    Write speed mainly. Read speed isn't really affected, except higher speed ones from reputable manufacturers tend to be higher quality cards so they may read a little faster. If you phone can record in HD, the higher class speeds can make the video smoother.

    With regard to this bit, I rang HTC to check what the memory upgrade options were before getting my Desire and was told that although the phone is technically capable of accepting MircoSDHC cards up to 32gb they had only tested with a 16gb card.
    The 16gb card worked flawlessly though, and this information was acquired approx a year ago so some more testing may have happened by now.

    I'm currently using a Sandisk 16gb MicroSDHC Class 4 in my Desire with no problems whatsoever.
