    Hi

I have a Motorola Milestone on Telus with 2.1-update1.

I'm using WPA at home and WPA2 Enterprise at work. Until recently, my WiFi was working perfectly. Then I noticed that I haven't connected to WiFi in some time so I tried and failed.

Options > Scan doesn't do anything. It doesn't connect. It sits there doing nothing. And the WiFi networks don't have problems. I've tested them against an HTC Dream and a Magic. Both work fine.

I tried the WiFi Manager app but it doesn't have any scan results. It just shows both - the work and home WiFis - in the list. Scanning doesn't change anything.

I have restarted my phone multiple times with no results.

I have rooted my phone using Easy Root hoping that would help. It didn't.

Anyone experiencing similar problems? Any possible workarounds?

    Thanks.

Oh yeah, I tried setting the WiFi sleep policy to "Never". That didn't help either.

If everything fails, you can always back up your data and do a hard reset.

    Settings>Privacy>Factory data reset or

Power down the phone. Press and hold the camera key and press and hold the power button until the Motorola logo appears. When the Moto logo appears release both keys and when a triangle with an exclamation mark shows up, press and hold the camera key and then press the volume up button. You will be presented with a few options and one of them will be factory reset. Open the keyboard and using the d-pad go to factory reset and press the center button of the d-pad.

So, I tried a hard reset too. That didn't work.

Maybe the phone is simply broken. Take it to have it repaired.

If you know how you can flash the original SBF and try that as a last resort option.

    Strange. It kinda fixed itself.

I tried switching bluetooth on earlier today and that wasn't working. It just turned off itself after a few seconds of displaying "Turning on". I turned the WiFi on and off along with the bluetooth a few times, also restarted twice, and strangely, it was working fine now.
