Mini-USB ChargerGeneral

    Well I know that any mini-USB will charge the device but I just want to make sure that if I switch my charging cable to a different, longer mini-USB chord that it won't fry my battery if left on charge overnight.

    correct and its the 2.0 usb. ( not sure what you ment by mini usb, there are many usb cables out there.)

    mini usb is the connector (i think thats what he meant) not referring to protocol

    The 1.1/2.0 thing isn't really going to impact the charging.

    Two of the pins on one side of the mini-usb tab inside the connector are for + and - direct current.

    It's pretty universal.
