Help Minix x8h-plus bricked?

[High Voltage]

So I wanted to update the libtrmp and had to root the box..

Downloaded the root file and set too with the update button..

Within seconds the screen went blank and is now stuck like that.

Tried connecting to my pc with otg for usb flash burn but PC cant see it.

Formatted the sd card and put the stock firmware back on but nothing happens.

I can still cycle the blue light with the power button but the screen stays blank.

Ive swapped the hdmi lead and tried it in different sockets 1,2,3 on the tv to no avail..

Have i bricked it or is there a different way to recovery or restore the box before I buy a new one..

I cancelled my sky to go the tv box route but this is my second one (first was a clone) and its turning into a costly learning exercise.
