missed reminder - notifications

apps like "missed reminders" are great for doing multiple alerts every X number of minutes if you don't hear the first one
they work on missed calls, gmail, and sms,
but is there any app that can monitor alerts from other apps like twitter (touiteur) K9 email, facebook
which don't do "notifications" ater the initial alert. So if that's not heard you don't know till you glance at the screen.
anyone aware of a 3rd party app that does for twitter and facebook alerts what missed reminders does for sms?

any ideas anyone?

I published a pretty flexible notification reminder set of profiles for Tasker on the Tasker Wiki. It can be easily extended to work with any app that produces notifications, once you understand how it works.
