Help Missing roaming settings on One M8 sprint

hi friends. check please the screenshot below, I don't have roaming settings and that's why I cannot enable data connection while roaming because of this ? and i really need this function how can fix it ?

Is your phone up to date? Check for an update. Setting > all the way down to system updates and press HTC software update> check for update....

I would also like to ask how your no gsm and not CDMA, as far as I know sprint only uses CDMA but I could be mistaken.

My device is sim free thats why i can use gsm. And if i put a custom rom to my device would we fix this ? Or may have a problem because of sprint ?
