Since lots of people here are on Orange it seems an appropriate place to ask. Do Orange charge separately for MMS even if you are on an unlimited texts contract? I get the impression they do, which is really very irritating. I don't suppose there's any way around it by ringing up and negotiating?

What he said. 50 MMs per month if it is in your contract. Otherwise you have to pay...

Almost certain they cost 15p each to send but are free to receive. Seems odd though when you have unlimited texts (like me) as when i was on o2 they were indeed included in the unlimited bundle.

Yeah they do. This really annoyed me too until I realised that my friends/family either get emails on their phone or their phones don't show pictures very well, so I might as well just email pictures for free.

On the Panther packages it's worth just pointing out it isn't 50x mms, it's actually 50x 'Picture Messages' ... so no video/audio clip msgs, as I found out to my cost.

Just to confirm on Orange they cost 30p to send each and free to receive. Very expensive if you send a bunch!
