    I got something similar to that from a shop called poundland, for the cost of you guessed it a pound.

    The poundland ones are cheaper for a reason. But they only reason you'd need one of these is if you were off somewhere with no electricity for a while, and happened to have a few dozen AA batteries (Probably bought from poundland :p).

    Only ever read BAD things about that website, so avoid is my advice.

    I have a Proporta Charger, and that does the job smashingly. Chargers all my other tech as well.

    Cheers, I'd never heard of the website before so was a bit hesitant to use them.

    Have looked at that Proporta charger, did it come with the adapter for the desire in the standard pack? Also looking at the pebble, that seems pretty good too.
