I got an Ascend 2 through Cricket online and right out of the box I started getting these ridiculous txt messages from bounce@mocospace.com. Tons of "people" wanting to be my "friend" and telling me about my brand new visa card and stuff...

I've called the Cricket help line and they say they can't help me; I've contacted mocospace and they haven't stopped the "txt" messages either.

    Anyone have experience with this?

How do I get this spam to stop?!??!! HELP MEEE!!!!

I thought it was just me. The same thing happened to me when I first got my Ascend. I think the number used to belong to someone on the moco thing. I used the text to log into the account, and deleted the account. Stopped it immediately. I couldn't begin to tell you exactly how I did it, though. I THINK I went to mocospace on the computer, and used my number to log in.

have the same problem, any ideas where this s*** comes from? I don't remember adding anything even hardly related with it...
  4. same thing happened with the phone I bought for my ex boyfriend. he started getting texts from mocospace once the phone was activated. I contacted mocospace support, told them what happened and they put an end to it.

For Verizon there is a section in your account settings called Internet Spam Blocking. You can enter the bounce@mocospace.com address there to have it blocked. I just tried it. Hopefully it works.
