If, like me, you are a fan of the Modern Warfare series, you can now play Modern Combat 4 on your shiny new Galaxy S4 using your PS3 controller.

At first, I struggled to get this to work but it turns out that there was a bug that has just been fixed.

You will need Modern Combat 4 and Sixaxis Controller, both of which are available on Google Play. You will also need the attached touch mapping file. I haven't exactly tested this thoroughly but I think it provides access to all the gameplay functionality. I have tried to follow the standard MW layout as much as possible so Modern Warfare veterans should have no problems working out which button does what.

You may well have to play with the sensitivity. If so, don't forget that you can change this both in MC4 and in the Sixaxis profile.

If I have missed anything in the mapping, let me know. I just knocked this up quickly and haven't played very far through the game so it's possible I've missed something. Indeed, now that I think about it there's no melee mapping but I haven't had the opportunity to melee anyone yet. When I do I shall update the file.

    Have fun.

Hello, I was wondering if you could help me with mapping my ps3 controller for MC4? I have a stack S4 and the ps3 controller automatically hooks up, with the usb adapter, to my s4. I can play MC4 fin but I can only swap weapons, aim shoot, throw a frag, and move, but I cant crouch or run. Is there a way for me to map the controls with out rooting my phone?

I don't think it's currently possible to do what you want. I had the same problem with the USB cable and SixAxis only works on a rooted phone.

Or better yet, get yourself MOGA Pro which supports MC4 and everything will be mapped already ;)

Check out my detailed review of that controller here: http://androidforums.com/android-ac...pro-wireless-game-controller-w-lots-pics.html

I'm personally not much into games, though both of my little ones are fighting over who will use it with their tablet to play Sonic Hedgehog lol!!! But for anybody who into smarphone/tablet gaming - MOGA Pro is a must have.

I thought Samsung said the S4 had built in support for the PS3 controller?
