    The Motorola specs clearly state

    MULTIMEDIA MESSAGING (MMS)3
    Animated GIFs

    At this address

Motorola CLIQ - MOTOBLUR - Android phone - Motorola USA

I am hearing from people that have received the Cliq already that animated GIF's do not work. So what's up here. Why :mad:would Motorola state this on the specs?

As far as i'm aware android currently does not support Animated GIF's , It's most likely a mis-print :)

Nothing to say this won't be available and supported in future versions of Android ;)

    No, it's not a misprint.
You can view animated gifs in the gallery and send them via mms.
    Tested yesterday.
Doesn't work in my OLD G1. Works on Cliq. Oh, the old G1....:)

I feel a bit duped my Moto on that advertisement. I just bought this phone a few days ago and was wondering why the MMS coming through had no animation. How am I supposed to see all the sick messages my friends send me??? In that respect, the Blackberry was much better for MMS/SMS. This phone is very cool, but I'm still not 100% sold on it. I may end up returning the phone, although Google talk is pretty sick.
