So it's gotta 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, 5 MP camera with 720p video recording, and a 3.5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, Android 2.1, and a slide-out QWERTY. Any Droid owners out there tempted by the LG Aloha? Could this be the phone we've been waiting on?

This is not really an "upgrade" from the droid imho. Smaller screen and maybe less resolution. Same camera, better keyboard, faster processor although not really since we all know droid with its gpu and all is just as powerful. If I did not have a droid though I might get it but to pay for an upgrade I want all aspects better.

Looks like a pretty sweet phone. I had a Voyager before my Droid and I loved the keyboard so that one should be pretty sweet too. I owned nothing but LGs before too and know they make great phones. I might be tempted. Only thing I don't like so far from those pics/specs is the slightly smaller screen (lower res?) And the absense of a soft back and menu buttons. How would that work..? I would like the trackballs though. I hope it has at least 512MBs RAM/ROM too.

It looks alright. Hopefully the keyboard isn't as loud as the LG Voyagers was... I am tempted to buy it, but I won't. Like mentioned above it looks to be missing menu and back buttons(for that dumb little light that lights up when you get a new text) which I don't know how they would replace or move somewhere else. I doubt its all that great.

I like it! I wonder if it'll run vanilla Android OS.

Nice idea, but the small screen is a turn off. Had it been at least 4.1", I'd be a lot more interested. But, on the bright side, it does have the keyboard going for it.

Am I the only one who thinks its ugly?

That keyboard looks like it might be nicer to use than the Droid's.

WHY is the d-pad still on the right? Makes no sense to me.

If the Droid and this were both available to me today for the same price under the same conditions, I'd still pick the Droid.

It looks like t has a custom ui over it... and the only android custom ui I'd consider switching to right now is sense. However, I really prefer stock android, and will probably see what the droid 2 has to offer before I upgrade. A rooted and overclocked droid is the best imo

Small AMOLED screen means that I would never touch this phone.
