Help Motorola Milestone stuck in boot after hard-reset

Hey there.

So I have a Motorola Milestone with the android platform 2.1.
Today after showing the phone memory was low, the phone stopped responding altogether, it would not show the home screen and the error would pop up saying " Activity Home not responding"
After taking out the battery several times and trying to boot it up again, it just gave the same error, so I did a hard reset/ factory reset.
However, now the phone just wont start up. It would boot up, the motorola logo will come up and then the android text and thats it. It just stays in that mode forever!

I am down to pulling my hair out on this, I don't want to give up on the phone just yet. I haven't rooted it or anything, anyone can help me please?

Flash the phone with the original SBF file using RSD Lite. Sometimes the stock files get corrupted. That in most cases will fix software issues.
