Q: How can I improve my battery life?
A: First off, you should read this post: http://androidforums.com/motorola-triumph/461571-guide-triumphant-battery-tips.html.
You do not have to follow all of the tips/suggestions, but the advice is sound and will help. Smartphones operate on a sort of spectrum. On one end you could put battery life, on the other end all those options like wifi/3g/sync (among other things). If you want great battery life you can't have those on all the time. If you want those on all the time, you won't get great battery life. It is best to find the compromise that works best for you and what you want most out of your phone.

Q: Why does it tell me I don't have room for a new app when I should have plenty of space?
A: There are .alog files in the stock OS that will do this. There are four options to get rid of them:

  1. Factory Reset.
  2. Root the phone and delete the files using a file explorer with root access (ES File Explorer is good).
  3. Change the permissions for the alog_events file using a file explorer with root access.
  4. Flash a different ROM.
