Motorola Triumph Jelly Bean Please Sign Up!

you right about that. i moved on to the evo v awhile ago but my next phone will probably be ubuntu phone hopefully vm will get one if not that then a samsung galaxy s2 or 3 hopefully vm get the s3

Given that vm has barely had the s2 I don't see them getting the s3 any time soon. A phone like the s3 doesn't really shine on a network like vm, anyway. At least not in my area. I just got the s3 on US Cellular and am absolutely loving it. I do hope vm gets a much higher end phone than what they're offering at the moment though, because after spending so much time on the Optimus v and the triumph I know I want more people to be able to experience what a high end flagship device is like. The triumph with ics is definitely a great phone, at least when you tune it up right but vm keeping it on froyo stock for so long has just been a nightmare. I'll still recommend the triumph to my friends though.

I have the vm s2 and I absolutely love it. I'm running cm10.1 which makes it even better.

Yep! Excellent phone. I also just bought the Victory LTE. Loving it too! The Triumph's development has been phenomenal. Haven't seen anything like it on another phone. Great community!

I love my Triumph, especially after upgrading to CM7... I'm going to switch to ICS on it soon.

I'd keep using a Triumph as long as I can keep buying a new one, but I can't deny that when I see people with bigger displays that I get "Screen Envy"....
Does size matter when it comes to performance? (wait, are we still talking about phones?)

I intend on staying with VM for the near future, and I do pop in on their website every now and then just to see what new phones are available- right now I'd be torn between the S2 and the Victory- I guess whichever one was easier to root would be my choice.

The s2... Idk about easier to root but since it's also on sprint, we can use their roms. The victory doesn't have very many ROMs yet.

It was way easier to update my Triumph then I though, and I wish I did it a lot sooner. Best news you can go back and forth between your stock phone and the new version in CWM. Just do a back up of each one and you can go back and forth. It's not fast like dual booting a PC, but after 10-15 minutes you can be back to stock and use your HDMI. When you are done you can load the backup of your new version of Android. It's like dual booting, but slow.

hey guys im new here , i bought a motorola triumph off some guy i dont even know wich is why it was pretty cheap ($65) i went to virgin mobile to activate it but they said i cant because the ROM has been changed -_- how can i change back to stock in order to activate it??help please

Hey there! I haven't had the Triumph in several years but I'm sure I can help you with this. Are you familiar with rooting, roms etc?

Go to this thread: http://androidforums.com/triumph-al...eodex-roms-triumph-now-resets-splash-img.html

This has the complete stock ROM that you can install through recovery. Don't install the deodexed version listed, just install the first one which is complete stock. Once installed, you can then activate your device.

If you aren't sure how to install it, please post over in that thread and we can assist you from there :)
