I've been searching, browsing, etc. Have a headache.

    Simple question:

Where can I rent movies for the droid?

All I want to do is load a movie to watch on the plane like I do for my itouch at itunes store.......

Seems like crackberry is piracy or close......

Any ways to convert itunes download rentals? What with the 24 hours to watch than it auto-erases capability, I would be stunned if this was possible.

So there is no service that rents mp4 movies, huh?

What about rentals of other formats I could then convert once I got them downloaded?

Found a site that Sells films in various formats for $2-5 depending on format. I can purchase Watchmen for example in the following formats:

    V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC
    XviD MPEG-4

Would these need conversion to play? My knowledge base is so shallow I don't know if they ARE in the mp4 the droid requires or if those extra letters mean the feeds need further conversion.
    Thanks.

Click on a movie. In the middle of the page, they have a 'download' box that shows the codec, with the various formats listed. Toggle the button (divx, ipod...) and you'll see the formats w/codec you can choose for that movie....

The ipod codec line is empty BTW.
