moving applications to my sd card

I have a Samsung s5 with a micro sd card of 64 gig I have lollipop firmware. Why cant I move the whole game I downloaded to my sd card through application manager. Also do the games work just as good when part of game is on device storage and part on sd card. Also when there are updates to game do both the sd card and device storage parts of game get updated . curious thing when game is downaloded and moved to sd card the total space game is using (device storage and sd card ) I greater than the original download to device storage.
