moving Icons

Is there a way to lock the icons on the home or start-up screens in place, to keep them from being inadvertently moved or deleted (which I often do) with the new Lollypop update. Or does one have to install a launcher like Apex. I don't need all the enhanced and extra options of a launcher. Just need to lock the icons in place. Thanks for any suggestions. I think you'll need to install another launcher. Nova (free or paid version) will do what you want and is really nice.

There is no way to do that on the Google now launcher unfortunately. You will need to install a third party launcher to do that.
