I was recently emailed a number of pictures to my gmail account. I was able to save the first picture to the Captivate. Since then, I have not been able to do anything with the other pictures.

Anyone know how to save gmail picture attachments to the phone?

When you open the message, select "download" on the attachment. It'll put it in your "Downloads" folder in your gallery.

I don't see a download option anywhere. Am I missing something?

When I open the email, the pictures show up as if they are imbedded in the message.

All of my embedded pics have a "Download" and "Preview" button under each of them.

I just saved the pics to my computer, then re-sent them to my gmail account. The download button appeared this time, but was not there before. Weird, but I got them on my phone, so I'm not going to worry about it.

    Thanks for your help.

You know that you can also upload your pics to Picasa and they will sync with your phone, yes? I sync pics on my main PC and my phone pics in Picasa.

I've never used Picasa. I'll have to check it out.
