I have noticed that the MP3 store is open all the time. I have never opened it and don't intend on using it from the phone. Is there a way to disable this or just get rid of the app all together? This has started after the 2.1 upgrade, never did it in 2.0.1???

I've been wondering about this myself. Is there a way to remove the new mp3 store app completely? Or at least keep it from loading constantly.

if you run Taskiller , and the Amazone mp3 store isn't on the Ignore list, you should see it when you open Taskiller (as a running app).

The Amazon MP3 Store app also should show up in OS MOnitor , load up OS Monitor and filter my process using MEMORY and you should see the Amazon mp3 store post 2.1 update. You may not see the Amazon app itself - not realize it's running as it's in the b/g automatically ....

You should be able to keep it from opening using 'Startup Auditor'

+1 to this, startup auditor does keep it from running; that was annoying me too having mp3 store running in the background all the time.
