Help msm_hsic_host wakelock

Does anyone know of a fix for this problem in 4.4? I've had a read into it & turned off all my location settings & google now, but the wakelock is still there and is pretty large - every time im not connected to wifi.

I also have a PowerMnagerService.WakeLocks issue, not sure if these are connected

I've had this problem on and off with 4.3 and 4.4. Not sure if there is a fix. I think it's a radio bug.

This has been pretty consistent for me. I didnt really want to root my phone, but I might have to and flash a new radio.

Do you know if changing networks would affect this?

Just out of interest, which app are you using to monitor the wakelocks on your unrooted 4.4 Nexus 4?

Don't need to root to flash a radio, just need an unlocked bootloader.

fastboot flash radio radio.img

Im using BetterBatteryStats

Despite it saying that it doesn't fully work on 4.4 it will show me kernel wakelocks, but not partial wakelocks.

I haven't a clue about coding, so I'll hunt about for other ways to unlock the bootloader. But thanks for the help
