    1550mAh isn't much of an increase over the 1350mAh standard battery (only a 15% increase actually). You'll only see an increase in battery life of 3-6 hours.

    There is, however, a 1750mAh battery that fits with the standard backplate. 1750mAh offers a 30% increase, giving you 7-10 extra hours of use.

    Hello, thanks for the reply.

    Is that for the GSM hero and do you have it? If you do, have you experienced an improvement in battery life yourself?

    Yes, it is designed for the GSM Hero, but no I do not have it, nor any extended battery. I can't really speak for the quality of any of them; however, they claim to be using "the highest quality Japanese cells."
