Multiple keyboards?General

    I have Swype installed on my Eris, which I love for texting, but I would rather use the stock HTC keyboard when using the browser. Is there any way to set it so that the browser automatically defaults to the HTC keyboard, and text messages default to Swype? I looked around in all the settings and didn't find anything.

    I'm pretty sure there is not. You could just manually switch every time you want to enter text, but that would be a PITA

    Maybe you just haven't used Swype enough.

    Because once you go Swype.... you never go back!!!!

    It was too bulky, and too hard to get used to. I had it for about 3 weeks, and I just couldn't get used to the look and feel.

    Yeah, it does take some getting used to. I just can't go back to pecking.

    Yeah I figured as much. I love swype for texting but for entering urls and such it's not so good... using it as an actual keyboard is laggy and inaccurate. Ah well, thanks for confirming!
