does anyone know if there is a widget that will remember multiple wifi connection so I don't have to input a code each time I switch to a different connection.

I believe the stock WiFi utility can manage multiple profiles.

I don't completely understand your needs, but I've found this app helpful for automatically logging into different WiFi networks that require me to use static IP addresses (as well as normal DHCP networks):

[IMG]Wifi Static
    by farproc
    10,000 downloads, 189 ratings (4.5 avg)
    Free
    [IMG][IMG]

When I'm in range of one of my saved "static IP" networks, it automatically updates my WiFi settings accordingly and connects me.
