    Hi,

I want to use my phone as my in-car MP3 player via the AUX port of the stereo. As soon as I plug the AUX cable in and hit play - all works fine - at least until I start charging the phone.

As soon as I plug that charger in there is some fairly low-level interference in the music - its only audible between songs or on relatively quiet songs, but my god its irritating.

Does anyone else have this issue? How did you get past it?

    Thanks

    Andy

You need to rule out the cause.

Do you still get this with headphones using the car charger? If yes...
Do you get this with headphones using other chargers?

If you dont get it with headphones and car charger, its the cable to your car stereo / car stereo

If you do get it with headphones AND with another charger, its the phone.

If you do get it with the headphones, but not with the other charger, its the car charger.

After trying 2 different chargers, and 2 different (and basic) AUX cables I decided to invest in a noise-cancelling AUX cable - and it works.

Apparently the noise was a result of interference from the car's electrical system.
