I'll be sure to give a few of these a try. Thanks.
Sent from Munnarg's EVO
Changed the phone entirely for me. Lots of other cute apps, but without this, my phone wouldn't see 1/10th the use it does now.
Remote For iTunes is crucial.
One I haven't seen mentioned here.. Gesture Search
I use it quite a bit.
It did the same for me has well!
for wireless tether you have to have mobile hotspot service from sprint right?
Wanted to add a couple:
Swype (beta) - More polished Shapewriter IMHO
Auto Task (Free) - Perfect for Profile setting based on Calendar entry.
Picasa Tools - A very nice integration with Web Picasa.
LastPass - For password mgmt.
Which compass app? There are a ton of them.
This is the Compass App that I was referring to.
Roger that, thanks!
Not sure but I've been using it for free wired tethering. Kept getting error 67 using the built in wired tether.
Definitely SWYPE (beta for android)
ShapeWriter whips Swype's ass as far as I'm concerned. I'm not sure it is available right now, though.
O.K, I'll play...
I like "Where's my Droid" for when I can't find the damn thing....
"Mobile Defense" allows you to remotely lock it and delete everything in case it gets stolen.
"Metal Detector" cause it pisses off my buddy with his "Crapple"
"Wifi Analyzer". Very cool
"mp3Tunes" Allows me to upload my music to the cloud to stream it anytime.
I've wondered about these,...do you have to find ROMS somewhere or do they come with games?
You have to find the ROMS, but they are only a google search away!
Just configured HomePipe on my PC and EVO and I gotta say its amazing!! Doesn't Apple have a similar service that they charge for called 'Mobile Me'?
And if you do the right thing and pay for the emulator app, they aren't even that far away!
@Rob_A I'm trying out a bunch of those, thanks for the list!

Touiteur (Twitter) - Android app on AppBrain - best twitter app hands down. pro version comes with widget
SilentMode OnOff - Android app on AppBrain ring/vibrate/silent. best widget i've seen yet because it includes all 3. onoff has other widgets, too.

For anyone in the TX area (Austin, Dallas, Houston) there is an app called Tabbed Out. You open a bar tab with your phone, and then you can pay out with your phone without having to go to the bar again. Works in restaurants that participate too!
It's growing every day and is the most awesome app I've ever seen. Brilliant.
