Help my battery going dead overnight on my htc evo shifth

Hi I have a htc evo shift 4g I just got it last week and everytime I go to bed and it fully charged and I don't use it and when I wake up its almost dead can any one help I kno this is not normal cause the screen does shut off maybe I have a setting wrong please help me thax
