my phone appears to be frozen - help!?!?!

    i was using it & it just froze
    i had to remove the battery
    it finally came on, but just appears to be frozen, its trying to syn (i can see the symbol) & i can see its recieved a text
    but it just wont work

    can anyone help?

    it switches on fine without the SIM card in
    any ideas?

    Faulty SIM card?!

    it now wont even load without the sim :-(

    Try another SIM from the same network. If the phone works then we know its the SIM. Get a cheap supermarket carrier bag and rub the SIM contacts with it, then get a pencil eraser and clean the SIM contacts again. Pop it back in the phone.

    it freezes on the HTC logo screen
    SOMETIMES gets to the 3 logo
    basically never gets further

    Leave the battery out for half an hour and try again.

    i've been researching - seems to be an issue with the phone, & looks like i will need to send it off for repair

    i've done a hard/factory reset
    its gone passed the HTC screen
    is now on the 3 screen, & has been for some time

    Did you remove the SD card also by the way?

    yeah i removed the sd card
    i've taken it in for repair now
