My Tracks: Article On How To Use?

Just spent a half hour Googling My Tracks and I still don't know:

  • Where it stores tracks when "Save All To Exterternal Storage" is chosen. sdcard/myTracks is one obvious location, but on my device at least that is not "External Storage". FX File explorer shows it under "Main Storage". First possibility for "External Storage" would appear to be the manually-inserted SD card... but I cannot find anything there. Doesn't mean it's not there... but it would be nice if something told us where.
    .
  • Where to go in my web browser to manage my uploaded tracks - presumeably somewhere in my gMail account's page.

I found Google Support's "MyTracks)" pages (My Tracks - Google Maps for Mobile Help) especially frustrating because of the lack of specific information like file/folder names, URLs, and so-forth.

Can anybody point me to an article that tells me what I need to know?

Found one tidbit: Mail the track to myself. Eventually, I get an email containing a link like https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=208627828139498295296.0004d8e79cdced3f969d1

Clicking on that link opened the specific track.

"Google Drive" seems tb where the tracks live if/when you click the little triangular icon on the Andrdoid device - that uploads the track to "Google Drive".

Google Drive seems tb Google's play for cloud computing: https://www.google.com/intl/en_US/drive/start or, once you have a gmail ID: https://drive.google.com/#my-drive and then drill down through MyDrive to MyTracks.
