T-Mobile – right on the heels of the MyTouch 3G Slide’s launch – is apparently looking to continue that line. Paying homage to the original MyTouch 3G they carried way back in 2009, the new device – being called by tech bloggers the MyTouch 3G HD – looks like the Slide variant except it doesn’t [...]

Wow this phone looks just as cheaply made as the last mytouch, I really hope tmobile gets the hint and spends abit more money on materials it uses, seems tmobile is trying to save a buck or two by using this cheap plastic instead of something solid like on the evo or droids on sprint and verizon and I hope to god that it has atleast the same speed as a snapdragon or better.. and they should not try to skin it with anything just leave it stock android let people decide on the launchers they want to use in market, My buddy just got a vibrant with that Touchwiz crap that comes with it, makes it look cartoonish and lame, and he cant run launchers like adw or launcherpro cause it runs buggy and laggy so he has to uninstall them and just run the touchwiz which he does not like or want.

Or maybe they're saying: "Since people are only keeping their phones for six months anyway...why bother to make them of high-grade materials?" If we look @ the Tmo Roadmap, they are releasing no fewer than 6 phones before year's end (counting the Vibrant). Its an assembly line, LOL

And you can thank Sammy for Touchwiz.

That makes a lot of sense. I like your device statement. I'm ignoring the existence of all other phones until I see the emerald device. If that becomes my android dream come true then I will stick with tmo. If it is a disappointment then I will be changing service providers.
