Is there a way to view the navigator without setting a destination. My old Garmin just had a map view and you could see "nav mode" while just driving around. I don't see an option for this with google nav.

Alternatively within the Maps app itself, under menu, select my location and it'll start tracking you. Then under layers you can select what you want to see beyond the roads themselves (satellite, etc).

Yeah, but it doesn't show me the view like I was actually trying to nav somewhere. I'm looking for the 3d Map view while I drive, with no particular destination. If anyone has a garmin, they know what I'm talking about it. Not a dealbreaker by any means, I love the inc, j/w though.
