I own an iphone and see the potential of apps. but my man concern is apps for social networking sites. man thats a great way to increase site membership or start something completely new and solely for the android. currently there are social networking sites that are on the iphone strictly. you can't even access them for the web. i think it would be a cool idea if there were networking sites that you could only get to via android and the iphone. hell it would be cool if windows joined the party and created apps to merge with existing iphone social networks.

i started this thread to ask to for a dev to create an app to integrate with a site i currently run. but went off on a tangent. haaa i am looking for a dev that can create an app something like the myspace and facebook app for the iphone but on a smaller scale. I use handshakes software as my social networking module and vbulletin for my forums. Please contact me @ ifonz0@gmail.com or shoot me a pm if you are interested in creating this app. it would be a paid job of course.

    Hi,

I found an article that you may be interested in

"The sooner this happens, the sooner the social web will truly go mobile: not just phone-friendly versions of major social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace, but new mobile-first entrants, social location-based services and more. And of course, as social web services spur the growth and mainstreaming of the mobile web, Google is set to benefit as the mobile ad market explodes."

Here is the link from where I found it:

Also, there is a program called 'SocialMonster'. The details are at the link below:

    Hope this helps.
