I'm not tech-savvy and desperately need some good easy to understand basic help. I rooted my wife's phone and then downloaded a ROM manager to backup the ROM. When I selected the backup function the screen went black and only displayed the LG symbol (LG Optimus T) and stayed there for hours. I removed the battery and then tried to restart the phone and then got the following message:
    Fastboot mode started

If I plug in the charger then I get a message stating that the fastboot is suspended. The phone does not move from this screen. I can pull the battery and then press and hold the home button and power button at the same time, then the phone will go back to the LG Symbol screen. The app was supposed to backup the ROM to the storage card. Is it supposed to take this long to backup the ROM? Did I do something wrong? How do I fix this?
My wife is really, really pissed at me now.
    Can anyone help?

Ok, so I plugged the phone into the computer and got a new set of messages:
    Fastboot mode started
    -- suspend --
    -- reset --
    -- portchange --
    -- reset --
    -- portchange --
    fastboot: processing commands

you might want to post your question in the All Things Root section. I don't know enough about it to help you but someone surely will be able to there.
