Need help reloading to fresh 2.1.2

I need help reloading everything. I have everything backed up for this reformat. I have Fresh 2.1.2 and Android System Recovery 1.5.2. I need help updating the recovery console and doing a fresh wipe. It seems like I am having alot of slowness with the weather Widget and Messaging APP. Any help would be greatly appreciated
