Alright lets start from the beginning in simple sentences.
Purchased droid from Verizon store with 2.2 froyo on it.
Came home and did the one click root
root worked great, i had superuser permissions app, busybox, and downloaded root explorer to disable bloatware.. happy me.
Verizon kept wanting to update software to 2.3.340.mb810.verizon.en.us
i changed all bloatware back to original state and installed the update.
i then used the guide located here http://androidforums.com/droid-x-al...ing-custom-rom-theme-how-unbrick-droid-x.html to install the z4root.
the z4 root looked successful, i ran it 3 times to be sure.
i can NOT access my root explorer, because it says there is no permission set in superuser permissions. When i went to superuser permissions everything that i had listed there before was missing.
it seems superuser permissions is not picking up on the new root application attempts to make changes.
where to go from here?
any help would be appriciated.
