Help need help with notifications for the motorola i1???

Ok well when ever i get text massages i want my alert to be a ringtone but i dont know how to do that????????????????/

it gives me no option.......

how do you do this????????


i already have a whole bunch of ringtones

plug phone into laptop using usb or sd card and adapter> then open using usb(motorola iDEN usb device) also known as your phone. =P or using sd card and adapter(Secure Digital storage)

then you want to create a new folder called "Notifications" and put ringtones that you want as notification alerts in this folder using your laptop.

eject or unmount device from pc and set alerts you want.

I never tried this personally. Don't really care what noise my phone makes as long as it makes noise. =P but I have read the above in other forums so it should work.
