looks lie Android 2.1 really has arrived.. (not yet for us 1.5 users.. yet) there is an updated manual for latest models.


quick glance shows the extra camera controls I had heard about

cant wait for official upgrade fro us...


just for info if you want to look over the features

Others have waited in vain and upgraded themselves.

Check out the various threads on how to update your 1.5 Galaxy Portal to 2.1.

See Galaxy Spica and Galaxy Lite forums. (Same model as Galaxy Portal, just different name for Europe and Asia)

..but not desperate just now... don't want to brick it in the first few months..

looks like the official update is out in the uk

as before NPS says phone noy supported for updating..

Anyone done this successfully
