New contact with birthday disappears

    Help please!

    Would it be possible for others to confirm that if you add a new contact with a birthday and save it, the contact is not then accessible?

    It took some time to narrow down the circumstances and repeat it. I would like to establish whether it's my setup, or an application issue.

    I just tried this with a new fake contact and it worked fine for me...? The contact appeared in the People list but I didn't try the phone one.

    Hi,

    Thanks for taking the time to try.

    Would you be able to confirm that you can access the contact?

    The new contact appears for me in the People list, but won't let me open it!

    If I don't put a birthday in when creating it, everything is OK.

    I tried it on another Desire this morning and got the same result.
