New DROID(s?) Coming!

Well hopefully with the announcement coming from Adobe as well this means that Froyo will be on a Motorola device soon.

Adobe is going to be there, so it's gonna be 1 of 2 things.

1. Flash Lite on 2.1
2. Flash 10.1 on 2.2

I added a link to a hands on with the new phone, its awesome. Its only running 2.1 though, I really really hope they don't screw up that phone and leave it there for launch, this could mean Flash Lite

The Droid X does look really nice. 4.4" screen? Beautiful! I'm hoping by the time my contract is up, there will be choices around the 5" vicinity, but 4.4" is already plenty of screen real estate!

Two things kill the phone for me though, unfortunately:
1) No physical keyboard. This already kicks it out of the running for me.
2) It isn't stock Android. There's unnecessary crap like Motoblur and that Engadget video showed a Blockbuster app and hinted at possible V-Cast integration. Bad Verizon! Didn't you learn from the wonderful success that was the original Droid that your users don't like your crappy apps on their phone!?

What do you guys think? I love it! I won't mind the Blur, since I'll just root it once someone figures it out. I like the screen size, tight pants have never been my thing. Also, I love the solid-looking headphone jack! I'm definitely going to get this phone...

If the Droid 2 was exactly like this but a little thicker for a "better" keyboard I'd totally buy it. I'm not to fond of the moto blur but I could always run a skin application.

I think if that thing were overclocked to 1.5 ghz it'd set your pants on fire. On the other hand, I can't really see putting that monster in a pocket. Dunno, caught somewhere between awe and disbelief.
